OOC: Subaccounts are confusing... I'll make a fancy and such soon. As for last names, neither Void nor Arab has one, so no.
IC: Dreamkit mewed faintly in protest at her brother's wail, disliking the loud, unpleasant noise. She wiggled closer to her mother as if to hide in her soft belly fur, then latched on to suckle, kneading Arabesque's belly with tiny, soft paws as she did so. Her own chocolate smoke fur was still damp, just like her littermates, but as the cool air dried it, it became fluffy and softer than that of a rabbit. It could not be seen just yet, seeing as her lids were still glued together, but her eyes were minty green tinged with yellow.
-
OOC: Ugh, I still need to make a fancy...
IC: All of her littermates were noisy, but at least Yellowbrickkit seemed positive. Deciding that she liked the sound of Kayi's voice, she wriggled in her direction. However, soon realizing that she was no longer by her mother's side, nor by the friendly-sounding stranger's, she began mewling pitifully.
-
"Hi, Codi!" Dreamkit chirped as she pranced up to her sister, flicking her blonde tail in silent greeting to Gwen and completely forgetting to share her own name. Her attention remained on Decodingkit as she added, "Why the long face?"
The chocolate smoke kit herself was awake because her imagination was just too active at the moment, and she feared that if she slept, she would forget all of the ideas she had. Not that she could put them to any use - she merely desired to remember them for as long as possible.
A yawn parted her small jaws, revealing the sleepiness she'd been denying to anyone who cared to notice.
-
Dream quickly quieted down, content to snuggle into her mother's fur once more and take a nap.
//museless yayyy
-
Bored? Dreamkit was almost never bored, and whenever she began to feel that way, she was always quick to occupy herself. She simply couldn't understand how one could just sit around being bored. Wasn't there anything Decode was itching to do? There was always something tugging at Dreamy's mind. Oh well - she'd do her best to help.
"We should play a game or go exploring, then." the fluffy she-kit suggested, green eyes bright as always.
-
It was then that a third kit - a chocolate smoke female who seemed to have forgotten to groom herself that morning - arrived. She scurried over, worry etched into her small face, but then realized that the unfamiliar tomkit was squealing with excitement rather than distress. Goodness, that sure looked like fun!
"Is it safe?" she inquired as Azurekit bounded back up the hill, looking a little hesitant.
-
Dreamkit, always eager to make new friends, pranced up to the other two kits. "Hi! I'm Dreamkit!" she squeaked brightly. "What are your names?" As she finished that sentence, she noticed a small, shiny beetle, and bent to sniff it, pupils dilating in fascination as she watched it crawl indolently over a rock.
-
Dreamkit frowned disappointedly at her sister, but the contortion was short-lived, as was to be expected of the ever-positive female. "You know, the only reason you're bored is because you're boring." the kit stated at length. As she spoke, she plopped back on her fluffy haunches, tipped her cranium downwards, and rolled her eyes up at Decodingkit, proceeding to stare imploringly. After a few heartbeats of this, she gave up on it and rolled, stretching out on her back and sighing dramatically as she stretched out a forepaw to gently prod her littermate's cheek. "You need to lighten up." she pouted. Inwardly, she was quite entertained with the whole thing, and it wasn't hard to tell that all the fretting was just an act. She truly did want her sister to be more positive and play with her, but she refused to let herself be genuinely negative about anything, and she couldn't help but enjoy what she was doing.
-
Dreamkit giggled, rolling away. However, before a play-fight could break out - which the pacifist might have refused to participate in anyhow - her attention was snagged by another kit's yowling. She wasn't sure exactly what the other she-kit was saying, but she did understand dance. Mommy danced all the time, and Dream thought it was beautiful. Perhaps she could do it too?
Grinning widely at her sister for a moment, hoping that she, too, would dance, she attempted to copy Arabesque's technique. She screwed her eyes shut, then attempted to twirl and leap as gracefully as her mother. Instead of achieving movement as fluid as a ribbon in the wind, as she'd been aiming for, she ended up falling over in a tangle of legs, paws, and tail. She righted herself, keeping her eyes closed, and continue as if it had never happened, but it wasn't be long before she was on the ground again.
-
"But it's a pretty beetle." Dreamkit breathed, exhibiting just as much awe as before, if not more. She stretched out a forepaw and laid it in front of the shimmering insect, but instead of climbing onto it as she'd been hoping it would, it swerved to avoid it. Frowning slightly, she hopped about so that she was in front of it once more and tried again. Same result. Again and again she tried, but each time, the bug stubbornly refused to play with her. Equally mulishly, the chocolate smoke persisted, huffing occasionally in determination.
By this point, she'd almost forgotten entirely about the other kits.
-
"And I'd be happy to." Dream rejoined matter-of-factly, skipping in front of the beetle yet again. This time, it stopped moving. Narrowing her previously widened eyes, she lay on her belly, placed one forepaw directly in front of it, then used the other to gently nudge its backside. With some effort, she finally managed to coax the beetle onto her paw.
"Yes!" she squealed, casting a triumphant glance at her apparently skeptical sister. Then, looking around at everyone else present, she stretched out her paw and exclaimed, "Isn't it cool?!"
Before there was any opportunity for response, she looked down and realized that it had begun ascending her leg. With a squeal of surprise tinged with fright, she began shaking the limb and dancing about on three feet until it unveiled its wings and buzzed out of sight. Panting, she felt a flame of embarrassment set her tufted ears ablaze.
-
Dream, forgetting her embarrassment, beamed when Pepperkit spoke. "Thanks! It's a shame it flew away, but... I'm sure there'll be more." she mewed brightly. "I'm Dreamkit, in case you didn't hear me before. Who're you?"

I finally got around to making a fancy for Dreamy! Excuse the low muse. ;_;

"Pepperkit, huh? Can I call you Pep? Oh, no - how about Peppy?" the cinnamon smoke she-kit questioned, tufted pinnas flickering enthusiastically. She quite enjoyed nicknames - that was no secret! - and tended to give them out whenever one she liked popped into her head.

When singing reached the young cinnamon smoke's ears, who had been dozing up until then, she was immediately wide awake. Not only did she love music, but she detected muffled pawsteps within the nursery, and saw silhouettes flitting by the entrance, which was very dimly lit by wan moonlight. Intrigued, she slithered between her sleeping denmates and crept out of camp. She didn't know her way around the territory yet, but she was sure that so long as she could follow her Clanmates' scent-trail, she shouldn't get lost. After all, even if she were to get lost, a warrior would surely stumble across her and lead her back home before long.
The possible dangers of cliffs and rogues failed to cross her mind as she made her way after the other WindClanners on light paws.

"Yes!" she agreed, perhaps a little too quickly - but who really cared about social grace, at such a young age? Dreamkit was already better than her father had ever been - that was a start. "Where do you think they'll be hiding?" Before she was finished speaking, she was already poking around, minty green optics probing every nearby nook and cranny. Unfortunately, the mesmeric insects eluded the petite kit.

Dreamkit giggled a bubbly giggle, pursuing her new friend with a light, leaping gait; the way she tended to prance quite resembled a bounding deer.
Reaching the shrub in a matter of heartbeats, she thrust her nose into the gnarled plant's brittle branches, squinting as she tried to peer around inside of it. "You check the other side, Peppy!" she called, testing out the nickname; when she opened her mouth, she felt a jutting twig poke at her chin, but she ignored it, determined to locate another beetle.

Dream pulled out of the shrub, a couple dry fragments of leaves and sticks getting caught in her fluffy kitten-fur. "You did? Wait for me!" she yelped, littering plant-debris over the spongy grass as she barrelled after her sister.

"Of course not, Yell." Dream replied not-so-convincingly, twitching her tufted ears at her littermate in a sarcastic fashion. Smirking, she bounded ahead, eager to discover the source of the singing. Perhaps whoever owned the lovely voice would teach her? Oh, how she wished she could sing!

"Wow." Dream whispered, staring in amazement for a few seconds. Then, snapping out of it, she piped up again: "We should show the others!"
As kits did, she proceeded without awaiting approval or agreement, quickly locating a small branch - more accurately, the end of one - that still bore leaves. She dipped it into the bug-kingdom, watching several of the stunning insects to crawl onto it before trotting back in the direction of camp, blonde tail high and swaying.
